Dua for parents

In the Quran, Allah declares:
“Your Lord has commanded that you respect your parents and that you worship none other than Him. If either of them becomes elderly during your lifetime, do not insult them or avoid them; instead, speak to them with respect. -(Quran 17:23)
“It is impossible for us to fully recoup the debt we owe to our parents since it is so substantial. In its place, we are obligated to treat our parents with the utmost compassion, respect, and obedience. -Quran 31:14-15
Not to add how the Quran emphasised the sacrifices made by mothers by stating: “We enjoined the human person to be kind to his parents. His mother carried him in pain and gave birth to him in pain. – Quran 46:15
As he said, “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: A continuous charity, the knowledge that others benefited from, and a pious son who (continues to) pray for him” (Sahih Muslim), the Prophet s.a.w. also urged us to keep praying for our parents.
We can pray for our parents using a variety of Duas. Even a dua that is spoken from the depths of the heart is acceptable.
